Hi, I’m Seidy West — and real estate isn’t just a profession for me, it’s a calling that blends service, strategy, and a whole lot of heart.
Born to serve and built to lead, I’ve spent the last decade-plus making an impact in the Grand Rapids community, beginning in 2010 with my work alongside Friends and Families of Cystic Fibrosis — an organization that’s deeply personal to me and has shaped everything I believe about showing up for people in meaningful ways.
My background before real estate — in school administration, underwriting, and over a decade in property and hospitality management — gave me the foundation for what truly matters in this industry: attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to navigate every kind of personality and pressure with grace.
Today, as a bilingual agent who leads with energy, compassion, and professionalism, I bring those skills forward to guide my clients with integrity and ease — whether you're buying your first home, selling your current one, or navigating what’s next. I don’t just open doors — I help you walk confidently through them.

Hey there! I’m Chuck West, husband, proud girl dad, golf lover, and full-time enthusiast of all things home, community, and connection. I turned my passion for people and property into a thriving career as a Realtor, house renovator, and property manager. With over five years in the industry and a deep-rooted love for helping others, my wife and I launched Sunset West Homes to help you turn your dream home into a reality.
Before real estate, I wore a few different hats from supervising logistics at UPS to working as a CPS investigator. That journey gave me the perfect combo of business sense and a social worker’s heart and I bring both to the table in every deal, every renovation, every client relationship.
I’m big on family, friendships, and FUN, and I believe buying or selling a home should be a celebration, not a chore. I love being active in the community, served as a board member for a children’s foundation for three years, and yes… I’ve even played Santa (twice!) to bring some holiday magic to local kids.
When I’m not helping clients, you’ll find me on the golf course, hanging with my incredible wife and two amazing daughters, walking the pup, or just soaking up life with the people I love most.
